Givebase
How it works

A simpler path from caring to helping.

Givebase brings discovery, context and ways to help into one thoughtful experience—so you can spend less time searching and more time making an informed choice.

01

Start with what you care about

Search by a cause, location or organisation name. Filters help you narrow the list by the ways you would like to help.

No ranking claims—just useful discovery tools.

02

Understand the organisation

Charity profiles make the mission, activities, communities served and registration record easier to take in.

Important context stays close to the information it explains.

03

Choose your way to help

Donate on the charity’s own website, explore volunteering, fundraise or offer goods when those options are available.

Donations currently happen securely on each charity’s own website.

Information you can place

Two sources, clearly separated.

Knowing who supplied a piece of information matters. Givebase’s data model and interface preserve that distinction from the start.

Official information

Legal name, charity number, registration status and annual returns have a dedicated place on every profile. Demo records are clearly labelled while official data connections are prepared.

Organisation-supplied information

Descriptions, photos, programmes, volunteering details and donation links can later be managed by a verified organisation. Those accounts will not be able to rewrite official records.

For charities

Profiles that can grow with the organisation.

Future verification will let eligible charities maintain their public profile while Givebase protects independently sourced registration fields.
