Basketball in the heart of every Auckland neighbourhood. To be the leading regional basketball organisation in New Zealand delivering outstanding basketball experiences for athletes, officials, coaches and managers inspiring a vibrant and inclusive basketball community across greater Auckland.
Organisation structure
ABS is set up to grow participation, enable pathways and strengthen our community through basketball. It's owned by the three shareholders, the associations Basketball Auckland, Counties Manukau and Waitakere West Auckland Basketball. Each of the three associations have a shareholding of 50 shares each in ABS. The operation works to ensure that more resources are invested to improve services & support for schools, coaches, officials, basketball leagues and basketball players.
